If we could give this place 10 stars we would!!! We absolutely loved our stay here - the ocean is literally a 30 second walk from our bedroom! We walked to the ocean multiple times a day and every night we took our beach chairs and watched the sunset with the adults usually drinking mai tai's and pina coladas while the kids looked for seashells in the lava rocks. Lisa's place is definitely a one of a kind experience with so many unique features everywhere you look. We loved the open concept living with all of the natural sunlight coming through the floor to ceiling windows overlooking the tropical gardens. The layout is so family friendly and having another master bedroom with a king sized bed on the main floor is such a nice feature, it allowed us to all travel together and be connected, and still have our own space and privacy when we wanted it. We loved falling asleep to the ocean waves crashing and waking up to the birds chirping in the palm trees, we truly felt like we were in staying in paradise. Most mornings, my wife and I would sneak away to the farmers market across the street and get a cup of Kona coffee and some fresh pineapple and mangoes and have a little romantic breakfast on the ocean wall and watch the sunrise before anyone else woke up. We found ourselves reconnecting as a couple and really enjoyed the over-sized shower built for 2 in our master suite, and we took advantage of the quiet nights on our private lanai, it was the perfect place to sit in our pajamas and just talk about our day. We found that we needed a light sweater in the early mornings and in the evenings after the sun went down, and since we were usually gone most afternoons either at the beach or out sightseeing the fans kept us all cool and quite comfortable even without air conditioning. I had to work from home a couple of days and the internet was fast and reliable even with everyone streaming on their own devices. On the days that we stayed close to home, my wife appreciated having sandy beaches within walking distance for the kids to swim and play. We took advantage of the outdoor shower daily, to rinse off the sand after we got back from the beach. Lisa is such a gracious and attentive host, she has lived on the island for over 10 years, and knows all of the inside secrets and best places to go. When we arrived the place was impeccably clean and there was a Hawaiian themed gift basket waiting for us to enjoy that even included thoughtful gifts for our children. Her place is in the perfect location, right on Alii drive about half way between downtown Kona and the world famous Magic Sands Beach. Having our own parking space right beside the front door made it easy for us to load all of our beach and hiking gear up for the day. Lisa's place is so unique and everything has been so well thought out - we took some of our best vacation pictures inside with the Hawaiian decor and artwork as the background. We realized how much money we saved staying at Lisa's place, after our friends that were staying just a couple of miles away at the Kona Marriott (attending the same wedding as us) came and visited us one evening. Our friends were paying more for their single hotel room than we paid for our entire 4 bedroom, 3 bath, fully equipped kitchen in a private oceanfront townhome with free parking, free internet and no daily resort fees! They said they would trade places with us if they could, that made us feel so good about the value that we were getting by staying here! 4 bedrooms on Alii drive at this price, really is incredible. We are already planning our return trip to Kona and will definitely be staying here again!

I rarely take the time to add reviews, but I have to say that this property is simply amazing. We went to Kona earlier this year and because we were able to work from anywhere we chose to do it in style. One thing that I can tell you is that there were 6 of us and we all work in the Tech Industry or are CEO's of companies. The internet speed was fast enough to handle all our laptops and internet gear. Before I left, I was told that the speed on the island was rather slow, however I can tell you that no expense was spared on setting up the connection for remote workers. Thank You!

My stay at Lisa’s AirBnB was a special one, for so many reasons.
First of all, we were welcomed by two lovely people (to be honest they didn’t need to bribe us with free coffee but what a bonus).
I rented this house for its good location and private beach but the main reason for my stay was to prepare the Ironman world championships, needless to say I was in the best conditions to perform.
The huge freezer for my frozen bottles and the proximity to Ali drive were just some of the determining factors that made me have a special day.
This house has plenty of space to accommodate a minimum of three couples, we were seven and felt we had plenty of space.
I thoroughly recommend choosing this house for your next stay in Kona.

This Hawaii condo was everything we needed for our very, unique trip. When they say 100ft from the Ocean, they are not kidding!
We spent every morning ocean front, drinking our coffee and watching the waves and surfers come and go. This little slice of heaven was the perfect spot to watch the pods of Spinner Dolphins go by mid-morning and even the Humpback whales put on a couple magical shows.
The location of this home is everything! After our morning oceanfront coffee, we would either bike or walk Ali’I Drive - it was the perfect way to get a little workout in and start the day.
Lisa has decorated this little oasis with fresh whites and blues that are inviting and welcoming. We were meshing our families for this trip, so to be able to have our own rooms and space was incredible.
The full-size kitchen and dining table met our needs to host our own Christmas Dinner and games, while still feeling like we weren’t sitting on top of each other.
10/10 we would recommend this home and Lisa as your host!
Thank you for your hospitality, we couldn’t have enjoyed ourselves as much as we did without you!
Best,
Danielle

I don’t usually leave reviews-but this place exceeded my expectations! It all started when we drove down the lane right off Ali’i Dr and were greeted by the white waves of the ocean. I mean-it was right there!
We absolutely LOVED staying at this Airbnb in Kona. It was perfect for our family! 4 bedrooms right off the ocean!!
When you walk into the home-it feels like a brand new house. It has a huge open concept main floor with a bedroom right off the main that was perfect for my elderly parents.
There is a bathroom with a shower downstairs as well. The kitchen was great and it had a huge modern acrylic table with super comfy leather chairs that were perfect to eat at and play games. It has a beautiful sectional that faces the gorgeous lava rock fireplace and outside courtyard.
The upstairs-oh the stairs-it had a super cool hand carved railing going up that had a huge turtle wall mural-the kids loved this…but anyway-upstairs there are 2 great sized, beautifully decorated bedrooms with lots of sunlight coming in.
A Queen in one room and 2 double beds in the other with a main bathroom with a tub/shower. It was perfect for our kids and their cousins to bunk together. And then there is the Master Bedroom…Since we found the place-we got this room. It was pure luxury. The tiling is so beautiful. I forgot to mention that there are whimsical tiled sea creature murals throughout the house.
So fun! But the master bathroom is stunning and the shower is huge! It also had a walkout private balcony just for us! Oh how I want to go back right now!
We loved everything about this house, but even better-this location!! It is right off the ocean and it felt like the midpoint to everything we wanted to see on the island.
Our favorite thing to do every evening at 6:00 was to grab our coffee after dinner and go sit by the ocean and watch the sunset. It was magical. We cannot recommend this place enough. We cannot wait to go back and stay here again.
